Their Eyes were watching god...

Is there ever a point in your life where you don't really fit in? Not just in groups of one another, it could be anywhere. For example, some kids at you local school might be called the preps and others called the geeks. Whatever the case, your not one. Some say well I'm popular ,but not stuck up in any way. Others say I'm not a geek and i definitely don't just sit a home doing nothing ,but study. What if your in the middle, somewhere between. Sometimes hanging around can be difficult. Somethings can be hard. Some harder than others. Trying to fit in is like changing yourself. It's wrong for you to change yourself to be someone your not. Always be yourself even when things get tough. If your just some girl that your future matters most, don't give it up to be some average person who doesn't care if she tried her best. Give it your all and know what you want. It makes life seem so much easier! :)

Future Journal

In the next 10 years i hope to have graduated at the top of my class out of college. I hope to have started my career, and accomplished many of my dreams. Become successful in whatever i do. Maybe start a small family. At this point I really don’t know exactly what will be happening in 2018. I just will be taking my life one step at a time. Cherishing those little things that most people don’t know about until their gone. Hoping that someday i will be remembered. Knowing that whatever i want to do later can be effected by what i do now!

Thursday's journal

You must know that today is the 7th anniversary of 9-11. Some remember their exact movements, thoughts, and surroundings. To me it is just a big blurr. I remember being in Mrs. McKee's third grade glass. The teacher from across the hall knocks at the door. Being in the third grade you don't really think about how serious the matter was, but the teachers didn't have to say anything for the kids to know what emotions went on inside of them. Teachers then began to whisper about the things happening. The weren't excited. You could see the depressed look on the their faces. It hurt a lot of people, and some are still hurting. Loved ones lost, children, mothers, fathers, and the one that our own nation cherishes the most gone forever, but will never be forgotten. Terrorism CAN happen its apart of the dangers some face more than others. Just remember that whatever you are it could happen to you. Be aware and remember those that were lost!

Journal

If i could change one thing about my life, it would be the attention i give to some things. Things you can't take back, all the regrets or things you should have just done and less thinking about it. The day of the game Justin got hurt, i told myself that i was going to tell Justin good luck before they left. I didn't and now he is in the hospital not knowing how much i really miss him. I should have just done it. Don't wait for the right moment cause it may never come. Just do it. Pay attention to your surrounding, and know what you want. Then go for it.

Pray 4 Justin

Justin Gannaway has recently been injured in a football game. He is hurt pretty bad. I just want everyone to know to keep him in our prayers. Also that we love Justin and miss him very much. He has always been a athletic and a person to make another one smile. I personally miss his face around the school, and all i can think about is the things i didn't do or say to him. We love and miss you #16. Your in OUR prayers!
Love,
Lindsey
